‘Udders Orchard Cider Company started out in 2007 when I realized that there were tonnes of apples out there going to waste. A love of cider, an interest in local food, and a good old northern thriftiness led to the idea to utilize unwanted, and sometimes troublesome waste, to produce a much sought-after product.

This is made from 100% fresh-pressed (by me) juice, with no preservatives (other than naturally produced acid, carbon dioxide, and of course alcohol). It is fermented slowly over winter using naturally occurring yeasts, and aged in oak casks for 6 months.
